About our template

The development of Excel Bookkeeping Spreadsheets is owed to the request of a client who asked for a simplified spreadsheet that was easy to use and inexpensive. Our knowledge of many software packages meant that we were able to eliminate unnecessary functions and concentrate on what was required.
As we were given this idea we felt strongly that it should be made freely available to others. Our spreadsheet is purpose built and user friendly. The design of the sheet centres on the concept of being able to track payment entries and to provide a variety of information breakdowns depending on what information is required.
There is capacity to:
- To input information quickly and easily
- Produce summaries
- Assist with periodic completion of VAT returns
- Information is displayed in a simple, consistent format
- Easy for the user and their accountant to understand - as a result this may result in reduced accountancy fees!
- Suitable for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies, whether you are VAT registered or not!
We would like as many people as possible to access the spreadsheet. As a consequence we have made it freely available as a trial download.
