Nicky Hunter

Personal Tax Manager

What do I do at Yorkshire Accountancy?

I look after our clients personal tax needs. I complete all Self Assessment returns each year and am your first point of contact for anything ‘Self Assessment’ related.
I help clients register for Self Assessment if they are new to the system and guide them personally through the tax return process to ensure they know what is happening every step of the way.
I help with planning the most tax efficient ways to withdraw your income if you are a director, working closely with the accounts manager and payroll manager to ensure maximum benefit to you.
I advise and reduce payments on account as necessary and provide future expected tax liabilities to help with your planning.
I can help with any HMRC enquiries into tax returns or if you have difficulty with PAYE codes and underpayments of tax.
I can help with declaring rental property income to HMRC under the Let Property campaign and help you stay on track in the future.
I am happy to work in a way which suits each client personally. Face to face meetings, telephone calls, emails, letters or a mixture of them all, I will tailor my services to suit your needs.

What I do away from Yorkshire Accountancy

Yoga, eating chocolate and reading.

3 Fascinating facts about me

  1. I believe you should eat at least one chocolate bar a day – I still live by ‘a mars a day helps you work, rest and play’.
  2. Despite being a ‘football mum’ for many years I still don’t understand the off side rule (don’t tell the kids)
  3. I love reading, a bookshop is my weakness
